Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end cap of a hollow member easily attached to a predetermined position, exhibiting sufficient adhesive strength, and hardly coming off.SOLUTION: An end cap 1 for covering an opening is formed of a composite material of wood flour and plastic, and includes: a plate like body 2 having an almost same shape with an end surface 51 of a hollow member 50 having an end surface 51 in a longitudinal direction opened; and a plurality of projections 4 erected on the plate like body 2 and inserted into a hollow part of the hollow member. The plurality of the projections 4 are thin plates arranged in close contact with a confronting inner wall surface 52a of the hollow member 50, and a main surface 6 confronting the inner wall surface 52a is configured to be an adhesive application surface.
