Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end covering structure for covering the end of a dry wall material used as an interior/exterior material for an eaves top or an around-window.
SOLUTION: In an end covering structure, the butt end of a dry wall material B formed by sandwiching a core material 10 between a facing material 8 and a backing material 9 is covered with an end material D which has a sectionally U-shaped covering space and a contact strip contacting the decorative face 8a of the dry wall material 8. The engagement part 5 of an end cover A, which has the cover part 1a formed with a vertically plane decorative face, a side decorative face and a side decorative face formed at both ends of the decorative face and the engagement part 5 formed with an engagement strip protruded upward from the end of the side decorative face at the upper end and an engagement pawl 7 protruded outward from the engagement strip, is inserted between the decorative face 8a of the dry wall material B and the contact strip of the end material D to engage the contact strip with the engagement pawl 7 into one unit.
