Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end mill end cutting edge grinder, which can be very simply operated, allows a person other than a skilled person to simply and surely grind the end cutting edge of an end mill, is simple in structure, inexpensive and compact-in sized.
SOLUTION: This end mill end cutting edge grinder includes: a rotary grinding wheel disposed in the interior of the body; an end mill holder holding an end mill with the tip projected; a grinding port opened in the body to insert the end mill holder holding the end mill; and a position setting device for setting the position of the end mill to the end mill holder. The grinding port is composed of a plurality of grinding ports different in angle of the inserted end mill relative to the rotary grinding wheel. The plurality of grinding ports are respectively composed of a third face grinding port for grinding the third face of the end mill, a flank grinding port for grinding the flank, and an end gash grinding port for grinding the gash.
