Abstract:
To provide a safety and economic end mill made of cobalt-less high speed tool steel, excellent in cutting durability and for preventing harmful Co components from scattering in regrinding.
This end mill made of cobalt-less high speed tool steel has a blade part on one end and a shank part on the other end of a tool main body. In the end mill made of cobalt-less high speed tool steel, the high speed tool steel contains no Co as a component element, has the heat treatment hardness in the range of HRC65 to 68.5, and has the rake angle in the range of 10° to 20°.
