Abstract:
To provide a structure of an end plate which inhibits entry of foreign objects into a transaxle case from a gap between end plates of the engine which are disposed into an engine and the transaxle case and divided into two pieces in a vertical direction.SOLUTION: An upper flange 28 and a lower flange 30 extending to the engine side are respectively provided at a lower end edge of an upper end plate 20 and an upper end edge of a lower end plate 22 and are inclined downward from a center to an outer end in a width direction of each end plate. A seal material 26 which closes a gap is provided between the upper flange 28 and the lower flange 30 to inhibit entry of foreign objects into a transaxle case. Further, the structure facilitates falling of foreign objects deposited on surfaces of the end plates to both ends of the end plates and thereby inhibits entry of the foreign objects deposited on the surfaces of the end plates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
