Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the occurrence of thermal expansion cracking by providing an outer cylindrical liner, which is fitted on an inner surface of a short cylindrical liner disposed on an outer periphery of an end of an inner cylindrical liner, and a covering liner fitted on an outer surface of the short cylindrical liner and slidably interposing the short cylindrical liner between the covering liner and the outer cylindrical liner.
CONSTITUTION: A double liner comprises an inner cylindrical liner 15 and an outer cylindrical liner 20. An end liner 17 is formed by circumferentially dividing a stepped cylinder into a plurality of sections, and has the same outer shape as that of the outer cylindrical liner 20. A short cylindrical liner 18 is circumferentially divided to be mounted on an outer periphery of the end liner 17, and is axially slidably fitted on a support ring 11 provided on a front support casing 10. A covering liner 19 covers the short cylindrical liner 18 in such a manner to slidably interpose the same between it and the outer cylindrical liner 20.
