To provide an end structure of a guard fence for a road, and a sleeve cap which holds a nut for use in bolted connection thereof.

An end portion of the guard fence for the road includes a support 1, a bracket 3 which is bolt-connected to the support 1, a beam pipe 10, a sleeve pipe 8, an inner sleeve 7, and the sleeve cap 9. A shank 9a of the sleeve cap 9 is equipped with a nut fitting portion 9c; and a nut 6 is fitted into the nut fitting portion 9c. The shank 9a of the sleeve cap 9 is inserted into the hollow portion of the inner sleeve 7; the nut 6 fitted into the nut fitting portion 9c, a bolt hole of the sleeve pipe 8, and a corresponding bolt hole 7d of the inner sleeve 7 are joined together; bolt holes 3d and 3e of the bracket 3 are each joined together; and the bolt passing through the respective bolt holes is fastened to the nut 6 of the sleeve cap 9.
