Abstract:
To improve durability of an endless belt to which a rib member with an end part for preventing the occurrence of a meander is attached.
A groove 9b is formed in a transfer belt 9, being an endless belt, such that a rib end face 2d of a rib member 2 is positioned in a position situated away by a distance A from an end part 30 in the direction of width of the transfer rib member 2. The distance A is longer than a distance X between first and second end parts 2b and 2c of the rib member 2.
