Title:
ENDLESS BELT TYPE ORGANIC ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03248186
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the durability by using hot-melt-based resin as a binder for conductive layers whose side end parts are exposed, transferring the resin by heat fusion and removing it, and forming a mark for seam detection.

CONSTITUTION: The conductive layers 2 are exposed at both side end parts and the mark 7 for seam detection is provided on one conductive layer 2. Namely, this endless belt type organic electrophotographic sensitive body is so constituted that the conductive layers 2 consisting principally of conductive agents and hot-melt resin are exposed at the side end parts, and a part of the conductive layer 2 is peeled and removed after the heat fusion to form the mark 7 for seam detection. Consequently, the mark is a transparent type, so the life of the organic photosensitive belt is prolonged and the productivity is improved.
