Abstract:
PURPOSE:To discriminate precisely one revolution of an endless loop tape through the display of a tape counter by mounting a tape winding means to be rotated unitedly with a winding reel bed and the endless loop tape having the length required for one revolution or two revolutions of the winding reel bed. CONSTITUTION:The length of a tape 10 is set up so as to turn by one revolution for two revolutions of the winding reel bed 1, i.e. a winding pulley 11. When the tape 10 is used for an up-to-date tape recorder set up to so that the display of the tape counter 5 counts up by ''1'' every two revolutions of the winding reel board 1, the display of the counter 5 advances by ''1'' every rotation of the tape 10, so that one revolution of the endless loop tape can be discriminated by observing the display of the counter 5. The tape can be also applied to an electronic type tape counter in addition to the mechanical type tape counter. If the change of the 1st digit of the counter is substituted for a rotary type display or a graphic display to observe the display more easily or these display devices are used simultaneously, it is more convenient to discriminate one revolution of the endless loop tape.
