PURPOSE: To provide high durability ribbon usable for high-speed printer by folding both ribbon ends where adhesive section is provided.

CONSTITUTION: Two adhesive sections 3, 3a are provided for both ends of the section 2 where ribbon 1 is folded. During the use, in particular at high speed printing, folded section 2 serves as cushion material against severe shock and friction inflicted by printing member, thus contributing to decrease damage on ribbon 1 arising near the adhesive sections 3, 3a to a large extent and improve durability sizably.
