Title:
ENDLESS TRACK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5519670
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an endless track which can easily proceed over a ridge or footpath as a dust cover for a motive power transmission mechanism to a driving wheel is out of contact with ground.

CONSTITUTION: The driving wheel 1 is provided in contact with the inside of the upper strand of an endless track belt A of rubber so that projections 1a on the peripheral part of the driving wheel are engaged in holes of the track belt A. The belt A is wound on half circumferential parts of front and rear guide wheels 2, 3. Engagement holes for projections 1a, 2a on the driving wheel 1 and the guide wheel 2 are provided in two lines between metal projections provided on the end track belt A. The dust cover 5 is provided for the mechanism for transmitting motive power to the driving wheel 1. Because the driving wheel 1 is engaged with the inside of the upper strand of the track belt A fitted on the front and rear guide wheels 2, 3, the endless track can easily proceed over the ridge or footpath without bringing the bottom of the dust cover 5 into contact with the ground.
