Abstract:
To provide a microwave irradiation device for endoscope, the device being capable of reducing a loss of microwaves and irradiating a biological tissue with microwaves to execute a cauterization efficiently.SOLUTION: A microwave irradiation device includes a first forceps piece 31a connected to a central conductor 12 of a coaxial cable, a second forceps piece 31b connected to an outer conductor 14, an insulation spacer 33 connecting the first forceps piece 31a and the second forceps piece 31b rotatably around a rotational axis and capable of insulating them each other except their tips. The first forceps piece 31a is connected directly to the central conductor 12 at a tip arranged on a coaxial cable side beyond the rotational axis. Tips of the first forceps piece 31a and the second forceps piece 31b open and close when the coaxial cable is displaced in an outer sheath 10 in an axial line direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
