An endoscope washing/disinfecting device 1 comprises: a washing brush unit 20 having a brush part 31 and the long shaft wire 32 with the brush part 31 attached at the distal end; a brush protruding/retracting motor 56 for protruding/retracting the shaft wire 32 in the longitudinal direction; a sensor unit 70 for detecting first marks 72 and 73 disposed at prescribed intervals in the longitudinal direction on the shaft wire 32; and a control part 84. Second marks 74 are disposed in the direction of advancement of the respective first marks 73 on the shaft wire 32. The control part 84 controls the brush protruding/retracting motor 56 so that the protrusion/retraction motions of the shaft wire 32 are decelerated when the second marks 74 are detected.
