The endoscope 10 having a treatment tool passing through path 11, which is formed on the inside of an inserting section 1 and is equipped with a leading aperture 12 in the distal end of the inserting section 1, has an accommodating portion 14 prepared in the middle of the treatment tool passing through path 11 and a vibrator 13 contained in the inside of the accommodating portion 14, the vibrator 13 vibrates by conducting and by the vibration, a treatment tool 18, which is passed through the treatment tool passing through path 11 and is led ahead of the distal end from the leading aperture 12, is vibrated perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the inserting section 1.
