This endoscopic system 1 is composed of a photographing device 21, an electrocautery 22, a main unit 2 equipped with a control panel 24 for each peripheral equipment, an electric bed 3 movement of whose main body 31 is controlled by the control panel 24 and a central processing unit (CPU) 23 in the main unit 2, a bed floor 4, a foot switch 25, a video monitor 26 and the like. Regarding the movement of the electric bed 3, the start and the stop in moving a bed body 31 are controlled by a bed control switch 27 on the control panel 24. A bed safety switch 34 is also provided on the outer peripheral surface on the side opposite to the main unit 2 of the electric bed 3, which is actuated by the contact pressure made when an object or a person touches it, so that the movement of the bed body 31 can be stopped when the bed safety switch 34 is given a touch by something.
