Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system which can reduce a fluctuation range of current consumption between a driving period of an imaging part and the other periods.SOLUTION: An endoscope system 1 includes: an imaging part 244 which picks up an image of a subject and generates an image signal of a subject; a driving signal generating part 34 which generates a driving signal to drive the imaging part 244 in a prescribed cycle and outputs the signal to the imaging part 244; a Peltier element 226 as an equivalent load part which has almost the same load as the imaging part 244; and an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) 271 as a control unit which drives the imaging part 244 during a period when the driving signal generating part 34 generates the driving signal and drives the Peltier element 226 while the driving signal generating part 34 does not generate a driving signal.
