Abstract:
To improve diagnostic ability of endoscope ultrasonogaphy for simultaneously diagnosing the planar expansion of a lesion and the penetration degree of the lesion into a digestive tract wall by accurately grasping the spatial position relation between an endoscope image and an ultrasonic image, and compositely displaying the endoscope image and ultrasonic image.
The spatial position relation between the endoscope image and ultrasonic image is coordinated by dot pattern projection of laser beams or pattern matching of three-dimensional form image information of a lesion part surface, and on the basis of the coordination, the endoscope image and ultrasonic image are compositely displayed.
