CONSTITUTION: In the tip of an inserting part 8, a treatment unit 35 is provided, and its treatment unit 36 consists of a freely curvable arm part 34, and plural and effectors 35a attached to this arm part 34 so as to be freely attachable, detachable and changeable. Also, this endoscope is provided with a driving means for operating the treatment unit 36, a mechanism for controlling an operation of the driving means in accordance with an input of an input means for instructing an operation executed by this driving means, and connecting and separating the arm part 34 and the end effector 35a, a carrying passage for a change treating implement for guiding a transfer of the end effector 35a, and a transfer driving means for collection and supply between a treating implement changing mechanism for containing plural treating implements, and also, supplying the selected treating implement to the carrying passage and the treatment unit.
