Title:
ENDOSCOPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010227200
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To propose a suitable application of the properties proposed for a photoelectric conversion means to the imaging, observation or recording equipment.

An endoscope obtains an image separated into each single color by means of a plurality of regularly arranged photoelectric conversion means each made of a CIGS based membrane with 60% or above quantum efficiency at visible and infrared ray regions respectively, and of red, green, blue and infrared LEDs illuminating in turn on a time division basis. Each time when a new image data is obtained after the illumination of one of these color LEDs, it is combined with the other two colors' image data already obatained into a color image data for a single frame moving image. If the luminescence of the infrared LED interferes when these visible three colors become a complete set, they are regarded as interpolated data for moving images. During the accumulation of electric charges under light from the light source of one of the visible and infrared ray region, the signal obtained and read under light from the light source of the other region is subjected to an AD conversion and transmitted. RAW data obtained from a capsule inside the body is received and processed into an image outside the body.
