Abstract:
To provide an endoscopic light source device which controls lighting timing to meet a period for imaging and enables lighting during a state of a stroboscopic light emission.
The light source for the endoscope is equipped with a light source part (LED) which lights at a lighting interval t1 of at least a field period t0 of an image pickup device and in a lighting time t2 shorter than the field period t0 and lights during the state of the stroboscopic light emission and a light emission control part which makes the light source part light in an imaging period excluding a read-out period tr of the field period t0 during the state of stroboscopic light emission.
