Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small energization control device and energization control method, capable of achieving low-cost prevention of burning a connector caused by arc discharge.SOLUTION: The energization control device 2 turns on/off a switch T1 provided at a current path from a battery 3 to a load 41 to control energization from the battery 3 to the load 41 through the current path. A voltage detection section 20 detects a voltage on the current path. A current sensor A1 detects an electric current running through the current path. A control section 23 calculates a resistance value by dividing an input voltage Vin detected by the voltage detection section 20 by an electric current I1 detected by the current sensor A1. The control section 23 makes a drive circuit D1 turn off the switch T1 when the calculated resistance value is determined to be not less than a predetermined resistance threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
