A plurality of pairs of electrodes for energization are provided in the longitudinal direction along the both width direction of the plate-like metal member, and a magnetic core is provided in the vicinity of the electrodes so as to surround the metal member. A coil capable of allowing the current to run therein is wound around the magnetic core to control the current expanding outside the magnetic core. In this state, the electrodes are successively energized to heat the plate-like metal member.
