Abstract:
To suppress performance deterioration of an energy absorbing body.SOLUTION: An energy absorbing body 10 is formed of a plate-like fiber structure 11 comprising a plurality of weft layers having weft 13 and a plurality of warp layers having warp 14 crossing the weft 13 in a stacked manner. The fiber structure 11 includes a first flat portion 16 and a second flat portion 17 made by binding the weft layers and the warp layers using binding strings in a laminate direction, which is a direction of lamination of the weft layers and the warp layers. The fiber structure 11 includes a second curve surface 20 having an overlap portion where end portions 11a and 11b of the fiber structure 11 are connected by overlapping in the laminate direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
