Abstract:
To solve the problem that a high load is applied to a transporting apparatus when the transporting apparatus starts collision.
Concerning an energy absorbing member absorbing the energy of collision when a railroad vehicle collides, a hole penetrating a joint point at which a face plate and a rib intersect each other is bored. Therefore, a peak load acting on the transporting apparatus at the time of starting the collision is reduced. In the energy absorbing member structured by a hollow extracting member, a hole penetrating the joint point at which the face plate and a rib intersect each other is bored.
