To provide a compact energy accumulation device for an on-load tap changing device which is adaptive to variation in load on a breaking mechanism unit due to temperature variation.
The energy accumulation device has an energy accumulation spring 4 which accumulates energy by movement of a winding-up case 3, an energy accumulation case 5 which moves with released energy of the energy accumulation spring 4, a changeover crank 6 which rotates by the movement of the energy accumulation case 5, catches 8a and 8b which engage crank ratchets 7a and 7b to fix the changeover crank 6 and energy accumulation case 5, a disengagement lever 31 which comes into contact with the catches 8a and 8b by the movement of the winding-up case 3 to disengage the crank ratchets 7a and 7b and catches 8a and 8b from each other, and a temperature-sensitive deformation member 30. The temperature-sensitive deformation member 30 deforms corresponding to temperature variation to drive the disengagement lever 31, and energy accumulated in the energy accumulation spring 4 becomes larger at low temperature than at high temperature because of a shift in contact position between the disengagement lever 31 and catches 8a and 8b.
