To provide an energy conversion apparatus which can improve energy conversion efficiency.
An energy conversion apparatus 1 comprises a magnet block 3 including a magnet 2 and a coil block 4 including a coil 4a. The magnet block 3 and the coil block 4 are oppositely arranged. The energy conversion apparatus 1 converts kinetic energy into electric energy by using electromagnetic induction which is generated by having relative displacement between the magnet block 3 and the coil block 4 in a prescribed direction orthogonal to the opposite direction of both sides. The energy conversion apparatus 1 comprises a movable part 12 including the magnet block 3, a support part 14, and an elastic body part 15 connecting the movable part 12 with the support part 14. Rigidity of the elastic body part 15 in the prescribed direction is lower than that of the elastic body part 15 in the direction orthogonal to the prescribed direction. The plurality of elastic body parts 15 are arranged respectively at both side of the movable part 12 in the prescribed direction.
