Abstract:

To enhance energy recovery efficiency by regenerative braking while surely suppressing a wheel skid at braking.

Regenerative braking is applied when a required braking Bref is smaller than a prescribed threshold Bref0, and hydraulic braking is applied when the required braking is larger than the prescribed threshold. In order to recover energy by utilizing the regenerative braking to a maximum limit when it is before the lapse of delay time TD of the hydraulic braking at generation time of a rear wheel skid, regenerative braking by a motor for a rear wheel is gradually decreased before the period TD switching to the hydraulic braking.
