Abstract:

To provide a controller which can control charge/discharge performance of a power storage device depending on the situation of electric energy generation or the use request of electric energy.

The energy storage controller for charging a power storage device with electric energy and discharging electric energy based on a use request comprises a means (step S1, S2, S3) for judging the situation of electric energy generation, a means (step S1) for determining use request of discharging electric energy, a means (step S4, S5, S6, S7, S8, S9) for controlling the temperature of the power storage device when it is charged based on the situation of electric energy generation, and a means (step S10, S11, S12, S13, S14, S15) for controlling the temperature of the power storage device when it is discharged based on the use request of electric energy.
