Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize an effective energy storage system which needs no superconductive switch and no supply of a large amount of the non-effective power from the system by switching the tap of the transformer. CONSTITUTION:Constant-conduction switch 12 is used to secure supply of the current of superconductive coil 1. To prevent the current attenuation caused by the loss of the current of coil 1, the rectifier is operated by switching the tap of transformer 7 for thyrsitor converter 3 which is used for excitation of coil 1 or for discharge of energy. Thus, the loss of the current is compensated. In such way, an effective energy storage is ensured with no supply of the non-effective power as well as no use of the superconductive switch.
