Abstract:
To suppress the consumption of storage batteries while suppressing the increase in cost.SOLUTION: A power storage system 1 includes a first power supply unit 2a capable of outputting first DC voltage obtained by converting the system power to DC, a second power supply unit 2b capable of outputting second DC voltage obtained from discharge voltage of a storage battery B, and a first power supply voltage generation unit 10a and a second power supply voltage generation unit 10b for generating power supply voltage from voltage output from either the first power supply unit 2a or the second power supply unit 2b. The second power supply unit 2b includes a first relay 25 having a contact with a DC positive terminal electrically connected to the positive terminal of the storage battery B and a second relay 26 having a contact with a DC negative terminal electrically connected to the negative terminal of the storage battery B. The first relay 25 and the second relay 26 are switched from the off-state to the on-state when it is detected that a power failure has occurred in a commercial power system G, and they are switched from the on-state to the off-state when it is detected that the commercial power system G has recovered power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
