PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy supply unit storing a fuel container and a generator in a housing, and capable of being installed in a narrow place.SOLUTION: As a container-side opening portion 22a and a generator-side opening portion 23a through which a fuel container 3 and a generator 4 can pass respectively, are formed on a container-side side face 22 and a generator-side side face 23 as two side faces of a housing 2 opposed to each other in an arrangement direction of the fuel container 3 and the generator 4, a working space is necessary only in the arrangement direction in installation, and an installation size and a size of the housing 2 can be made almost same as each other in a horizontal direction orthogonal to the arrangement direction, so that it can be installed in a passage of a narrow width and the like.
