Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear engagement device for smoothly changing a torque of a motor for adjusting a phase of a gear member upon its release to a torque requested after the release of the gear member.SOLUTION: In a dog clutch 40 for performing the engagement and release of a hub 41 and a brake member 43 by an actuator 44, a pre-release request torque to be requested for switching the dog clutch 40 to a release state to a first MG 200 in which power is transmitted to the hub 41 is calculated, a rocking control is performed for performing the increase and decrease of the torque of the first MG 200 so that the hub 41 is rocked when switching the dog clutch 40 from its engagement state to its release state, and when the rocking control is performed, the torque of the first MG 200 is changed first to be made close to a post-release request torque requested to the first MG 200 after the dog clutch 40 is switched to its release state.
