Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a folding table not folded even if a heavy matter is laid on the top plate by equipping a safety lever which engages/disengages between the operating part of an operation lever and the lower face of the top plate and switches the operation of the operation lever.
SOLUTION: A dent part 9 of an operation lever 7 is engaged with a receiving pin 6a to lock the top plate 3 in the horizontal position. A corner part 12b of a safety lever 12 is inserted in between the tip end part 10a of a push button 10 of the operation lever 7 and the lower face of the top plate 10 and engaged with the tip end part 10a by energizing force of a plate spring 15 to obstruct upward inserting of the push button 10. Consequently the operation lever 7 cannot rotate and the engagement between the dent part 9 and the receiving pin 6a cannot be disengaged. When a lever arm 12a of the safety lever 12 is rotated around an axis 14, a plate spring 15 is buckled to disengage the corner part 12b of the safety lever 12 from the tip end part 10a of the push button 10. When the push button 10 is pushed upward, the operation lever 7 is rotated to disengage the dent part 9 from the receiving pin 6a to enable to rotate the top plate 3 to the vertical position thereof.
