An engaging device is provided, including: a first gear, which is disposed on a second axis different from a first axis and has first gear teeth meshing with gear teeth of a flywheel; a second gear having second gear teeth meshing with gear teeth of a damper; a first shaft, which is connected to one gear in the first gear and the second gear, extends in an extension direction from the one gear to the other gear of the first gear and the second gear, and reaches a position beyond the other gear; and a second shaft, which is connected to the other gear and extends along an outer circumference side of the second axis of the first shaft, in the extension direction from the other gear; and a clutch, which is disposed at the extension direction side from the other gear and engages and disengages between the first shaft and the second shaft.
