Abstract:
To provide an intake device of an engine, in which a large quantity of additive gases can be uniformly distributed to a plurality of intake passages without increasing pressure loss.SOLUTION: A fourth branch pipe portion 37 has, at the inner wall thereof, a protrusion 37C protruding toward an upstream-side end of a communication path 37B. A passage cross section of the communication path 37B of the fourth branch pipe portion 37 at an upstream side is formed larger than a passage cross section of the communication path 37B. The fourth branch pipe portion 37 is formed into a cylindrical shape. The protrusion 37C is formed of a curved face protruding toward a center axis of the fourth branch pipe portion 37. The curved face forming the protrusion 37C protrudes up to the vicinity of the center axis in a cross section orthogonal to a cylinder row direction of the fourth branch pipe portion 37. Also, a first branch pipe portion 34 and a third branch pipe portion 36 are formed similar to the fourth branch pipe portion 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
