Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of speed shift shock due to sudden acceleration by detecting engine load, prohibiting the execution of torque down when its value is decided to be less than a predetermined value, when the speed shift of an engine and an automatic transmission provided with a torque down control means is conducted by receiving a speed shift command.

CONSTITUTION: When an accelerator pedal is suddenly stepped on and crosses a shift up line, at the time point of a torque down permission flag XFSCNI being fixed, an operation state enters into a sphere where torque down is allowed, and torque down is conducted, and also when the accelerator pedal is stepped on in the sphere where torque down is allowed, and crosses the shift up, torque down is conducted, and the generation of speed shift shock is prevented or restrained. Accordingly, when the stepping on positions of the accelerator pedal are approximately equal, torque down is conducted in either case whether a first operation state has entered its sphere or not, and there occurs no sense of incongruity.
