Abstract:
To provide an engine chain saw capable of improving rigidity against a force acted on a guide cover fixing part at the time of its use and further capable of restricting increment of its weight.SOLUTION: A chain saw main body 2 of an engine chain saw 1 comprises a metallic cylinder 21 storing a piston 51, a metallic first structure 22, and a resin second structure 23. The first structure 22 has integrally a crank case part 221 storing a crank shaft 52, a cylinder fixing part 222 arranged at an upper part of the crank case part 221, an oil tank part 223 arranged at a front part of the crank case part 221 and a guide bar fixing part 224 arranged at the side surface of the oil tank part 223. A second structure 23 is fixed to the first structure 22 and also has a carburetor chamber forming part 240 forming a part of the carburetor chamber storing a carburetor C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
