Title:
エンジンの燃焼室構造
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6565986
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
To provide a combustion chamber structure capable of improving ignitability of an ignition plug in a spark-ignition type engine.SOLUTION: A combustion chamber structure of an engine comprises a crown surface 50 of a piston 5 and a combustion chamber ceiling surface 6U provided in a cylinder head 4. On the combustion chamber ceiling surface 6U, an injector 18 and an ignition plug 17 are arranged. The injector 18 is arranged to face to the central part of the crown surface 50 and is configured to start fuel injection before the piston 5 reaches the compression top dead point. In the crown surface 50, a plug corresponding area (a small cavity 51) that corresponds to an ignition part 17A is formed to be relatively closer to the combustion chamber ceiling surface 6U in the cylinder axis direction than a part of a region that excludes the plug corresponding area (a large cavity 52).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
