To provide an engine compartment for a construction machine, having good performance of cooling operating oil while suppressing the generation of noises even when the thermal load of the operating oil is greater.
The engine compartment comprises a heat exchanger unit 6 including a radiator 3, an oil cooler 4 and an intercooler 5 arranged in parallel to one another, and an auxiliary oil cooler 104 in a predetermined space 60 between the heat exchanger unit 6 and a cooling fan 7 which generates cooling air on the downstream side of the radiator 3 and the intercooler 5. Herein, a pipe 50 and a pipe 51 are provided for guiding operating oil returned from a control valve to a lower tank 104b of the auxiliary oil cooler 104 and for guiding the operating oil guided to the auxiliary oil cooler 104 to an upper tank 4a of the oil cooler 4, respectively.
