Abstract:

To provide an engine component having a low thermal conductivity, a low specific heat, and a thermal insulation film excellent in heat resistance and mechanical strength, and a method of manufacturing the engine component.SOLUTION: An engine component 14 has a thermal insulation film 30 on a wall surface constituting an engine combustion chamber.
