Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain high measuring accuracy by simple matching when an air flow meter is connected to an engine control unit, and also correspond a renewal parts to the engine control unit easily even if the air flow meter is changed.
CONSTITUTION: A memory means 4 having memorized the real air flow amount of an air flow meter 11, a data in relation to output characteristic or the correction data of air flow amount calculation is provided together with an electrical circuit 6 for measuring an air flow amount on the air flow meter 11 which is a part of the intake passage in an engine. In an engine control unit 7, the output signal of the air flow meter 11 is digital-calculated using an air flow amount read from the memory means 4 of an air flow meter body 11 side - output characteristic or an air flow amount correction data so as to find out a real air flow amount as the calculating data of a fuel supplying amount.
