Abstract:
To provide an engine control device capable of detecting an ON-fixed fault of a clutch switch appropriately.
The engine control device 1 includes: a start determination means 2a that determines whether the engine of a vehicle has been started or not; and an ON-fixed fault detecting means 2b that detects the generation of the ON-fixed fault of the clutch switch 3 when the start determination means 2a determines that the engine has been started and when the clutch switch 3 provided at the clutch pedal of the vehicle is on.
