Abstract:
To provide an engine control method and an engine controller, capable of reducing shock of a vehicle in a case where an accelerator is turned on for acceleration from the coast.SOLUTION: A controller 3 is configured to, when an accelerator is turned on from the coast, increase a target intake air amount Qt by an ISC command air amount Qisc, which is the larger one of a rotation holding air amount Qamon during operation of an auxiliary machine for maintaining an engine speed Ne at a target speed Net and a negative pressure required air amount Qnp that satisfies negative pressure requirement for an engine 2; and increase a driver request torque Tdrv by a shortage correction torque Tc corresponding to the air amount obtained by subtracting the ISC command air amount Qisc from an auxiliary load compensation air amount Qam_t for compensating the load torque of the auxiliary machine of the engine 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
