To carry out a starting operation of an engine generator in a one- touch manner by a switch provided on a control panel.

The control switch 95 is arranged on the control panel 7. The control switch 95 carries out opening/closing of a fuel cock, opening/closing of a choke, and on/off of electric power supply to an ignition device in a cooperative manner. The control switch 95 is also provided with a switch shaft 97 which opens/closes the fuel cock 100 in conjunction with a control dial 96. A choke lever 106 connected to a chock wire 107 is attached to the switch shaft 97. The switch shaft is provided with a cutout for operating the lever by abutting on or separating from the choke lever 106, and choke opening/ closing operation is carried out in conjunction with an operation of the switch shaft 97. Further, the switch shaft 97, formed is a cam crest which carries out ON/ OFF operation of a stop switch 99 controlling supply of the electric power to the ignition device.
