Abstract:

To provide a control system for normally maintaining idle speed of an engine by limiting speed of a vehicle.

This engine control system is provided with a first feedback shaft for supplying driving force in response to ground speed of the vehicle and a second feedback shaft for supplying driving force in response to engine speed. A ground speed control system is connected between the first feedback shaft and a throttle system of the engine to limit operation of the throttle system in response to first feedback driving force to limit the ground speed. An idle speed control system is connected between the second feedback shaft and the throttle system of the engine to operate the throttle system in response to second feedback driving force to maintain desirable idle speed.
