Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the drainage of condensed water from an exhaust pipe and the melting thereof when frozen.SOLUTION: An engine control device includes a throttle motor 34 for adjusting the flow amount per unit time of exhaust gas to be exhausted from an engine, and an engine ECU 12 for controlling the throttle motor 34 so that the flow amount of the exhaust gas increases by a fixed amount until a predetermined second time passes after starting the engine, when a temperature under a freezing point is detected by an outside air temperature sensor 16 for detecting an outside air temperature, a previous engine operating time is shorter than a predetermined first time, and a predetermined-range acceleration with which the flow amount of the exhaust gas increases by the fixed amount to enable the drainage of water from the exhaust pipe is detected by an acceleration sensor 33 for detecting an acceleration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
