Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain power performance that enables smooth acceleration while avoiding deterioration of operation feeling and deterioration of fuel economy caused by occurrence of surging of a supercharger.SOLUTION: A control device for an engine includes: a supercharger comprising a compressor 17 for applying boost pressure into an intake passage 1 of the engine E and a turbine 7 arranged in an exhaust passage 2; a waste gate valve device W for reducing a rise of the boost pressure in the intake passage 1; waste gate valve control means 31 for controlling the waste gate valve device W; surging occurrence detection means 32 for detecting whether or not surging occurs in the supercharger or whether or not an operating region is a surging occurrence region; throttle control means 33 for controlling a throttle opening; and ignition timing control means 34 for controlling ignition timing. When detecting the occurrence of surging or detecting that the operating region is the surging occurrence region, the control device operates the waste gate valve device W to suppress the boost pressure or an increase in the boost pressure, expands the throttle opening and performs advance correction of the ignition timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
