Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an engine capable of improving scavenging efficiency by synchronizing a timing of generation of a negative pressure of pressure wave and a timing of overlap of an intake valve and an exhaust valve, while minimizing torque loss in an expansion stroke.SOLUTION: In a control device of an engine in which an exhaust valve and an intake valve are opened while overlapped to each other in an exhaust stroke of the engine, a valve opening timing of the exhaust valve in the exhaust stroke is advanced in accordance with increase of an engine rotating speed, and in a case when a valve opening timing of the exhaust valve according to the engine rotating speed is before start of an exhaust stroke, preliminary exhaust is implemented to open and close the exhaust valve in an expansion stroke of the engine before start of the exhaust stroke.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
