Abstract:
To secure combustion stability while accurately removing deposits from an injection hole of a fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: An ECU 20 includes an injection control part 22 for controlling an injector 15, a deposit estimation part 27 for performing processing to estimate a deposit accumulation amount in an injection hole 15B of the injector 15 (step S4), and a fuel pressure control part 26 for allowing the fuel pressure rise of the injector 15 when the deposit accumulation amount is equal to or greater than a predetermined value. If the air-fuel ratio of air-fuel mixture to be generated in a combustion chamber 6 is leaner than a theoretical air-fuel ratio, when the deposit accumulation amount estimated by the deposit estimation part 27 is equal to or greater than the predetermined value, the injection control part 22 controls the injector 15 to correct the air-fuel ratio to be rich (step S7), and the fuel pressure control part 26 controls a high pressure fuel pump 153 as a fuel pressure adjustment mechanism to allow the fuel pressure rise (step S9).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
